The Vision & Design: A Family Dream, A Heavenly Blueprint

Where love, faith, and creativity came together to shape a sanctuary of hope for generations to come.
Where faith, love, and purpose came together on paper.
It was a golden afternoon in California — the kind of day where the sun feels like a warm promise from heaven.
My wife, Sofia Barrantes, and I gathered with our children — Claudia, Cesar, Kathy, and Ryo — inside our office. But this wasn’t just a family meeting. It was the beginning of a vision that had been growing in our hearts for years.
We had already donated the land. We had already said “yes” to the call.
Now it was time to give shape to the dream — to imagine what this sacred place would become.
With prayers in our hearts and hope in our hands, we began to sketch.
The room filled with ideas, laughter, memories, and dreams.
We wanted classrooms for learning.
A clinic for healing.
Spaces for worship, counseling, and play.
We wanted it to be a place where children felt safe, seen, and loved — where families would know they were not forgotten.
My daughter Claudia, with her Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, listened carefully as each of us poured out our thoughts. She took our dreams and began shaping them with pencil and passion.
One sketch turned into five.
Then ten.
Then the page began to breathe — not just with lines and measurements, but with vision and purpose.
When we saw the final layout, we all knew:
This was it.
It wasn’t just a design.
It was our family’s offering — created with love, shaped by unity, and guided by the Spirit of God.
We weren’t architects or engineers.
We were just a family with a calling — and a mission to bring hope to Guatemala.
This design now represents the heart of Twelve to Milos:
A center built by faith, drawn with purpose, and destined to serve generations.
From Our Table to the World
Every line Claudia drew… every building we imagined… every dream we dared to include — it was all for the children.
And today, we share it with you.
Because this isn’t just our design anymore.
It belongs to every person who believes that love can build more than walls — it can build futures.
